Who Are We?
Who are we? We, who stand so resolute, so strong? Who push back on the meanness, the ugly, hurtful wrongs?
Who are we whom life looks to with hopeful, desperate eyes? Who knows its fairness rests upon our unity, our lives?
We’re Power when we act as one, we’re hope — our light, it shines. We are the ones who will step up, with wisdom, heart– the sign–
….of Martin’s call for Courage, Compassion for the need– Of joy in being his ‘three C’s,’ the Creativity.
Together, we are clear –“We Rise!” Where ‘most will lift the least,’ We’ll grow; we’ll show these grass roots –bold
And act–
oh yes, we’ll act–
on our firm-held beliefs!
