What RISE Is

RISE is a bold attempt to build a coordinated effort that could draw people out of seemingly being ‘frozen’ sense of loss/helplessness, bring meaning to their action/new relationships and make an ongoing public impact. It is not meant to be political per se — more focused on rights, needs and good that can be done. It will be attentive to collaborative action as much as personal effort. Initially, it will be a lot of ‘push back.’ Standing for Resilience, Imagination, Strength and Empathy, RISE believes in action, while supporting each  other. Expressing outrage when outrage is due. To rise from inactivity — with passionate purpose — and without rancor.
